When Francesca and Alessandro Gallo first launched the cheap golden goose Deluxe Brand shoes in 2007, they had a unique concept that looked dirty and inspired by travel and vintage discovery. Somehow, the two men re-sold (or “lived in”) sneakers at a price between $300 and $400, recklessly resonating. Ten years later, the brand appeared on the map as a fashionable brand, and it continued to expand beyond the attention of its insiders in the fashion industry.
To celebrate the decade since the first launch of the sneakers, GGDB has launched its tenth anniversary superstar-limited edition series, which has 1,000 works inspired by the “skateboard world”. In addition to a new iteration of its precious sneakers, the brand will also sell cool gold trench coats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, bombers and jackets to promote GGDB’s streetwear aesthetics.
